WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
As a Development Manager at JYSK Greece, you'll play a vital role in driving our expansion and ensuring the efficiency of our current store portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying potential store locations based on thorough analyses.
- Skillfully negotiating lease contracts, covering both commercial and technical aspects, in alignment with established guidelines.
- Creating and maintaining good relationships with developers and real estate agents
- Collaborating with Country Management to develop investment calculations and contribute to strategic planning for new locations.
- Overseeing the administrative tasks related to registrations and legal documents for JYSK premises.
- Managing security services and ensuring the maintenance of essential facilities.
- Actively participating in procurement processes for essential services, such as electricity, heating, and waste management.
- Providing continuous follow-up and support during store projects, including liaising with lessors and contractors.
- Monitoring market trends and prices to inform decision-making processes.
- Securing JYSK's defined standards for engaging with construction companies and suppliers.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
We're seeking a proactive, results-driven Development Manager with the potential to grow alongside our business. You could be the perfect fit if you possess:
- 2-4 years of experience in retail expansion with strong understanding of the real estate market in Greece
- Experience with identifying and securing ideal locations for retail stores
- Exceptional planning, negotiation, and communication skills.
- The ability to influence and communicate effectively at all organizational levels, coupled with a positive, persistent, and flexible approach.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical and practical mindset.
- A willingness to travel to explore potential rental spaces (approximately 90% of your time).
- Fluency both in English and Greek and a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
